Directions for Use

Step 1: Prepare the Cutting

Select a cutting from a vigorous, healthy parent plant. Ensure the growing tip is between 5cm and 20cm long. Take the cutting near a node at the end of the stem.

Step 2: Prepare the Stem

Remove any leaves or flowers from the node area. For hardwood cuttings, lightly score the stem to assist rooting.

Step 3: Moisten the Cutting

Lightly moisten the cutting before application. Hardwood or rough woody cuttings do not require moistening.

Step 4: Apply ROOTER

Dip the lower end of the cutting into the powder, covering the stem slightly above the intended planting depth.

Step 5: Remove Excess Powder

Gently tap the cutting against the edge of the container to remove any excess powder.

Step 6: Plant the Cutting

Plant the treated cutting into a high-quality propagation or potting medium. Ensure the planting hole is wide enough so that the rooting powder is not rubbed off during planting.

Important: Do not allow rooting hormone powder to come into contact with nearby plants or cuttings, as it may be harmful to established plants.

Step 7: Firm and Maintain

Gently firm the soil around the cutting to remove air pockets.

Keep the cutting:

• Warm (minimum 15°C)
• Consistently moist
• Protected from direct sunlight

Many plant varieties root more successfully when kept in a warm, humid environment with indirect light.
